AMBER Alert
Digital billboards deliver real-time information. In a growing number of communities, digital billboards are linked to the AMBER Alert network to help locate abducted children.
In the United States and Canada, an AMBER Alert is a multi-media notification to the public of confirmed child abduction cases. AMBER is an acronym for "America's Missing Broadcasting Emergency Response." It was named for 9-year-old Amber Hagerman, who was abducted and murdered in Arlington, TX, in 1996.
